Camper next to us asked where we were headed when we left the Emerald Coast, we told him, tonight we may sleep in Florida, maybe in Alabama, or maybe in Georgia, turned out we had breakfast in Florida, lunch in Alabama and supper in Georgia, we slept wonderfully with Georgia on our Minds! Actually Trish said she had something else on her mind, as the sign outside our door warned campers to be alert to alligators! The State Park had huge mounds built of rock and earth about 1000 yrs ago by the native indians. We seem to never know the time or even the day, but we do know that now all highways and byways, mostly byways, lead north and east to Maine, back through some of the country we already seen, but you can be sure a different road! Trish wanted a Georgia peach, we seen the sign and pulled in, asked a lady where the fruit and vegetable stand was, meanwhile all these well dressed people were parading into one of the houses, the lady said, no peaches, the man who sold the peaches died! Trish should have put one or two on the door today, after Paul decided to have a nap in the camper. Paul was sleeping in the back, Trish was driving, she came upon an accident, traffic was stopped for quite a while, Paul was curious, he opened the door to see what the problem was, just then the cop waved Trish on, Paul fell out, buck naked, onto the highway, the cops quickly got Paul wrapped in a blanket, then went after Trish, they asked her if she was travelling alone ,after they had told Paul to get down in the back seat, Trish said Yes, because it's usually illegal to travel in campers or trailers while driving. Then they told her they had a gentleman in their car that says he belongs to her and needed some clothes, we all had a good laugh and never did find out if it's legal to be in the back in Georgia!
