Sunday in North Carolina we stopped in Mayberry, home of Andy,Opie, Barney, Aunt Bee, Gomer & Goober, and of course Floyd's Barber Shop, you can take a ride around town in the vintage Sheriff's car, then visit Opie's Candy shop. We told the lady in the candy shop about Walton's Mtn. , she said her husband doesn't know it yet, but he is taking her there this summer! Also the home of Donna Fargo, she walks around Mayberry and the crowds follow her!
We stayed for a few days in an Army Corps of Engineers campground, one couple that had the site next to us actually had a pup tent and then they had a pup tent, that's right, a tent for their dog. They put a pillow in the shape of a dog bone in the doggie dome!
