The blog is pretty well terminated, but if anyone is still following, we may have some photos of the trip on the site, we have them on disc, now to figure out how to transfer them to the site. It was so much fun sending those blogs and reading your comments. We are now in the process of making plans to somehow spend six whole months in the southern states, to experience one complete winter with no snow in our lives, May month has been depressing and rainy for us, we are on a downer because of almost constant sunny days for seven weeks. We hope to leave on Dec 1st this Fall and return on May 31st. We have created a new blog for next winter, we have six months to plan and then hopefully six months on the road in the sunny southern states, we will occasionally blog some of our plans and may see a little snow for the first part of our trip. You can make our trip so much better by commenting and telling some awful winter stories during out travels, the name of the new blog is: www.homesweethighway.blogspot.com This will also be on the back of our camper in large letters in hopes of picking up followers from those actually following us on the highway. Be the first to be an official follower on our new site!!!!

Home! To the cold and rain, can't even take the camper off today, but, we had a wonderful trip, still wondering if we could do it for a whole winter next year. Again ,thanks for following us, thanks for the comments, on our way to the Legion, we missed everyone for the last six weeks!
This Texan dies and goes to heaven, forget it!, Trish says I told that one before. It's been a blast blogging!

We are back to wearing the winter clothes we left in! Last night we did the Bonnie and Clyde thing again, stole some electricity from the office at a closed provincial campground in New Brunswick. Will stop in Amherst to see Karen, Paul's daughter, then home to the Western Shore. Had our Tim's fix first thing this morning near Saint John. See you all at the legion Wednesday afternoon. It's been a great trip, thanks for following us, loved your comments.
This cooler weather is a bit depressing, but we will soon adjust! We really did do it for less then $99.00 a day, and had a ball, Trish & Paul!

Hooray,Hooray, it's the third of May and we found a Tim Horton's today. They are also in the ice-cream business here. Just at the turn off for Old Orchard Beach. Jo Anne, the camper dance is decent, but you actually touch each other while dancing! You see half of America out for their walk, or bicycling and then the other half drive golf carts from their trailers to the campsite store for pop and chips, and we are not talking seniors here!

Hooray, Hooray, it's the second of May, outdoor screwing started yesterday! We hope it was warmer in Nova Scotia then it was in New York State. Got a great idea, but too late in the trip, when we have the odd restaurant meal I always tip pretty good, I'm going to start tipping Trish for every wonderful meal she creates in the camper and then the next day she can pay for the gas. Saw two Canada geese with eight goslings in Pennsylvania, thought that happened in Northern Canada, guess they just couldn't wait! Saw some of that white stuff still on the ski hills in Mass. Trish says I'm not allowed to actually spell out that word! Drove through Orange , Mass. Paul was there for the World Parachuting Championships in 1962, a friend of his in the army won first place at that time. We went to Walden Pond, site of Henry David Thoreau's little cabin, no bigger than our camper, he lived in it for one year a hundred years ago, we hope we can do six months next year perfecting the camper dance!
