While doing our laundry before leaving the Casino campground( oops! RV Resort) a guy and his wife drove up. He drawled something to me out the window, after about the fourth time of me saying, I didn't know what he was saying, I finally understood him to be asking if we were on the road all the time. He was actually saying, " Are y'all full time?" What he meant was, are you on the road full time with that truck and camper? When I said yes, he turned to his wife and said, "See, Honey!, I told you they was full time, I could just tell by looking at them!!" His wife wasn't that impressed, she looked like maybe she would consider "full time" if her hairdresser, make up person and maybe a cook could travel with them. Not like Trish, who you won't recognize when we get back, she is almost completely grey now. Talking about accents, some people have told us Paul has a northern acccent , like from Michigan, and Trish has no acccent, like people from California! We passed two coal fired plants , Big Cajun 1 and 11, then ended up on a ferry across the Mississippi, in keeping with our budget, you only have to pay going the other way. Talked to a guy on the ferry, he has been using it for forty five years, fifteen years ago he seen ice pans that had came down from up north, only ever happened once he said! Trish thought the cemeterys were neat, all concrete coffins above ground, would make great picnic tables or just seats to eat your sandwich! We camped in Angie, Louisiana, Bluegrass Festival, visitors from all Southern states, we were given free tickets for the day! We take nothing but back roads, we have been so far back in the woods sometimes that the people who live there have to have sunshine pumped to them!

  1. Paul, I suggest that you take a pic of Trish's grey. Because when you get back you'll never see it again. LOL.

I can't believe she didn't take hair dye with her!!!

    love you guys.
