Stopped at a gun show in Poplarville, Mississippi, one of the guys running the show was the local sheriff, he told us we could buy any gun we seen , Trish loved a Taurus (her sign) 22 LR with a pearl handle, too expensive, $400.00 bucks, none of the automatic machine guns were within our budget either! We stayed in a nice campground, the manager was Jim Canada, yes ,that's his last name, he a Hoosier from Indiana, came down here to camp 4 years ago after Hurricane Katrina, ended up helping the owner clean up and is now living the life of Riley every day. He took Paul fishing, Paul caught his first ever Largemouth Bass, we plan on having them for supper tonight on a Florida Beach. We ate at a restaurant on the property run by a German lady, what a setting on the lake! Road kill in Virginia and Tenessee was mainly squirrel, with vultures eating them, then many deer in Texas, now it seems to be Armadillo and the buzzards are feasting! We put steak in a pan in the camper sink and had it marinating in beer, as we drove Trish noticed the drain was open, beer and blood on the byways of Alabama! Saw the USS Alabama tied up as a museum in downtown Mobile, what an absolutely beautiful city to drive through, we had to go through a long tunnel under two rivers, but then the tunnel for miles was trees growing on both sides of the road and meeting in the middle, and magnolias everywhere! It was surreal! Finally in Florida, it only took us thirty one days to get here. We had our first campfire at Lake Stone last night in Century, Florida!
