Stopped at another Legion for lunch, Post 75 in Crestview, Florida, got talking to a lady, she had served in Argentia but was originally from Denmark, Paul was telling her he had been in Copenhagen in the navy, the biker next to him said he was married in Copenhagen, it's a small world. First beer was on the house, we gave them #44 ribbon, some Canada pins and then the lady bought us a chip, these wooden chips have the Legion number on them and are a way to buy a beer for a friend, we will save them 'til next year! You can smoke and wear your hat in the legion, Trish loves it! We found out you can use welfare food stamps for pop, chips, junk food of any kind, but cannot buy toilet paper, diapers or shampoo or soap. They are luxurys! We mentioned inexpensive food before, but yesterday took the cake, for $19.99 we got two pounds of lean hamburger, two large steaks, two Dolly Parton chicken breasts, four boneless loin chops and 10 large saugages. You had to purchase all five to get the discount. At least 10 meals for us at two dollars each! We are soon on the way home and that will get us half way there, meal wise!

Just finished visiting the Air Force beach, miles and miles of the whitest sand, even whiter than Trish's breasts, that will change tomorrow, she went topless for a while , hardly anyone on the beach, seems the Air Force works on Tuesdays. The guy running the complex was army and then navy like Paul, he said he was a Titless Wave in the navy, Paul asked him what that was? That's the Yeoman , the guy who does all the secreterial type work on the ship. Want to welcome Jim Harroun as another follower!
